Motorola is doing good with the Android 15 rollout. The company has already released the anticipated update for Moto Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Neo, and Edge 50 Ultra. Now the company extends the availability of Android 15 to Moto Edge 50.
Motorola kick-started the testing of Android 15 beta on Edge 50 last month. Now they released the stable version to the public. Moto Edge 50 receives the stable Android 15 update ending with V1UW35H.63-14-6 build number. The update weighs around 1.5GB in download size.
At the time of writing, the update is available to select users in India. A broader rollout should commence in a matter of time. MotoFanboy on social media platform X, shared this information in a new post and also attached a screenshot.
Motorola is pushing the Android 15 update to eligible devices with a bunch of new features, including the new lock screen customization features, updated quick panel, Circle to Search functionality of compatible devices, Gen AI emojis, new emoji stickers, improved connections, and more.
Apart from these changes, the update will bump up the monthly security patch version to a newer version. As always, Moto didn’t mention all the changes in the changelog. Here are all changes mentioned in the release notes.
- Android 15 release: Smarter, Faster, and More Secure
- Enjoy smoother graphics
- Faster app performance
- Screen recording notifications
- Easily switch between languages
Moto Edge 50 in India can update to the latest version of Android. In case you missed the OTA notifications, you can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > System updates > Check for system updates.
