The wait for One UI 7 continues as Samsung keeps delaying its release. While they stated that the update will arrive in the first quarter, they should have aligned it with the Galaxy S25 series. According to recent rumors, there will another One UI 7 beta, which means the stable update for the Galaxy S24 is not close yet.
While the One UI 7 release date for the Galaxy S24 remains unknown, the update release date for the budget-friendly Galaxy S24 FE may have just leaked. Recent rumors had revealed that Samsung is testing the One UI 7 beta internally on the Galaxy S24 FE, with the build even available on RTL servers.
Tarun Vats, a well-known Samsung product tipster, may have successfully obtained the One UI 7 release date for the Galaxy S24 FE. According to him, the Galaxy S24 FE will receive a stable One UI 7 update on March 31, which means about two months later.
If the leak is accurate, the wait for the update might be longer than expected. The Galaxy S24 FE is one of the latest devices, and if it’s going to receive the update almost at the end of the first quarter, it could take even more time for other devices.
The latest flagship devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and some more devices may get the update earlier than the Galaxy S24 FE, but it may still take around 3 to 4 weeks.
At this stage, there is no point in speculating when Samsung will release the stable One UI 7 for older devices. While it is best to get a bug-free update, Samsung should have taken these steps earlier. But complaining will do nothing, so we must patiently wait and hope they release the update soon.
