How to Access Apple Intelligence AI Features in EU

Last month, Apple officially kicked off the iOS 18.1 beta with Apple Intelligence, but the support for anticipated features was initially limited to US English only. Early this week, Apple released the second beta of iOS 18.1, expanding access to Apple Intelligence features for English-speaking users in the European Union.

If you reside in the EU, read on to learn how to get access to Apple Intelligence features on your iPhone or iPad in the EU.

Prior to the release of iOS 18.1 beta 2, access to Apple Intelligence features was geo-blocked by Apple in the EU region, due to regulatory concerns related to the Digital Markets Act. The issue didn’t officially get resolved and there’s no information on whether users will gain access to the new features when iOS 18.1 is released in October.

However, there’s a workaround if you have a US App Store ID and reside in the EU, then you can try out the new Apple Intelligence features on your iPhone or iPad.

How to Enable Apple Intelligence on your iPhone or iPad in EU
