Eligibility List: Every Device That Supports Gemini Intelligence

Summarize This Article:

Google recently announced Gemini Intelligence, along with Android 17, at the Google I/O event, which is now making a lot of news. Well, it’s not about the cool features Gemini Intelligence offers, but rather the system requirements your Android-powered smartphone or tablet needs to meet.

Looking at the device requirements that your smartphone has to meet, certain smartphone models don’t even meet these requirements, such as the Google Pixel 9 and Samsung’s freshly launched Galaxy Z Fold 7. So, what are these high requirements, and what devices should be believable right away for Gemini Intelligence? Let’s find out.

Gemini Intelligence: Device Requirements

Let’s now take a look at the device requirements that your Android smartphone or tablet needs to have

  • Onboard RAM: 12 GB or more
  • SoC: Flagship level
  • OS Upgrades: 5
  • Nano v3 and greater
  • Media Requirements: Spatial Audio, Low Light, HDR, gaming, and annual GGI + driver updates
  • Security Updates:6 years

The requirement of having Nano v3 support itself indicates that not all flagship smartphones from various brands that were recently released will have support for Gemini Intelligence.

So, will Google change the system requirements of Gemini Intelligence to bring in more smartphone modes? We’ll have to wait and see. Until then, here is a list of different smartphones that are currently eligible to work with Gemini Intelligence.
