Honor is reportedly working on the Magic 9 series, which is expected to launch in the coming months. Leaks surrounding the upcoming Magic 9 series have already started surfacing online, and a recent leak suggests that the Magic 9 series could feature larger batteries compared to the Magic 8 lineup.
According to SmartPikachu on Weibo, the Honor Magic 9 series may come with bigger 8000mAh batteries. For comparison, last year’s Magic 8 series featured batteries between 7000 and 7200mAh, so this would mark a significant upgrade. The Magic 8 lineup already offered impressive batteries, and this rumored upgrade is even more appealing.
Earlier, the same tipster claimed that Honor was testing two different batteries, 8000mAh and 9000mAh capacities. However, based on the latest leak, the company appears to have settled on the 8000mAh range for all models in the series. The tipster also mentioned that the lineup will include three variants: small, medium, and a larger flagship device.
The source further claims that the Magic 9 series will feature flat displays with 1.5K resolution. The phones are also expected to include a 200MP primary camera enhanced with ARRI-powered image and video processing, along with high-end image stabilization.
