Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand is launching the Redmi K90 series in China next week. The series will have three models: Redmi K90, Redmi K90 Max, and Redmi K90 Pro Max. Having already revealed the design a few days ago, the company is now officially teasing the series with some key specifications.
Redmi K90 Max Key Specs Confirm Before Launch
Redmi, on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, shared a bunch of images teasing the Redmi K90 Max’s key specs. One of the teasers reveals that the upcoming K-series smartphone will boast an 8,500mAh battery, which will be a single high-density silicon carbon cell battery.

The smartphone will support 100W wired fast charging with PPS tech. Additionally, the phone supports 22.5W reverse wired charging to help users charge their accessories like TWS and power banks.
Redmi has also confirmed that the Redmi K90 Max will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. Whereas the vanilla Redmi K90 will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, meaning the K90 Max is the most powerful smartphone in the upcoming K-series phones to date.
The brand has already confirmed that the K90 Max will feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a high 165 Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole camera cutout. For safety, the smartphone will have an IP66 + IP68 + IP69K water resistance rating. The phone will feature a massive cooling fan on the back.
The Redmi K90 series is set to be officially unveiled in China on April 21, just a week away from now.
