Android 14, the latest Android update is finally available to the public. This update was expected to be released last month, but due to some reason it got delayed. Google has now finally released the official Android 14 for Pixel devices. This means that other OEMs will also launch their own version of Android 14 based custom UI soon.
The new Android 14 comes with many new features. Also expect some improvements in your Pixel phones after the Android 14 update. Let’s quickly take a look at the new features coming with Android 14.
With Android 14, you will be able to use different live wallpapers in homescreen and lockscreen, support for larger fonts up to 200%, camera flash or screen flash on notifications, no need to press enter after entering the PIN, create your own emoji wallpapers, regional preferences, drag and drop content from one app to another, and many other features. How to Download Android 14 on Pixel
The update is rolling out to users over the air and can take some time before it is available to every eligible devices. To ensure you are not missing on update when available, check for updates in Settings > System > System Update. And when the new update appear, you can install the update to enjoy the new Android 14. If its not available, wait for some time and check again.
If you don’t want to wait for the update roll out for your device, you can always manually install the new available update using the official Android Flash Tool. There are other methods but Android Flash tool is easy and safe.
Before you upgrade, make sure to take backup on your device so that you don’t lose data in case the update goes sideways.
