Samsung is one of the first OEMs to open custom skin based Android 12 beta. The OEM has already rolled out three One UI 4.0 beta for Galaxy S21 phones. One UI 4.0 beta 3 for Galaxy S21 was rolled out about two weeks ago. And today Samsung has released the fourth One UI 4.0 beta for Galaxy S21 series. It comes with a huge list of changes including bug fixes, and improvements.
The One UI 4.0 stable release is not too far, we can expect the stable One UI 4.0 for Galaxy S21 phones. Samsung has already included most of the Android 12 features in One UI 4.0 beta. And One UI 4.0 looks quite similar to Android 12 when compared with other Android 12 based custom skins like OxygenOS 12, ColorOS 12, Realme UI 3.0, etc.
The new One UI 4.0 beta for Galaxy S21 comes with firmware version G998BXXU3ZUK1 / G998BOXM3ZUK1 / G998BXXU3BUK1. This is a big update over the last beta update and so you can expect the update size around 1GB. Galaxy S21 One UI 4.0 Beta 4 comes with many bug fixes and changes along with the November 2021 security patch.
As you know the One UI 4.0 is available in limited countries and this update is now available to all regions where the previous beta is available. So if you have joined the One UI 4.0 beta program on your Galaxy S21 device, you can update to the One UI 4.0 Beta 4. You can manually check for the update from Settings > Software Update.
Folks at Sammobile have shared the update screenshot where you can check the full changelog. Most of the changes are for bug fixes and also many system apps have been updated.
As the stable One UI 4.0 release is close and so beta updates that you will get in November will be like a stable build. But still, we donโt recommend users to install One UI 4.0 beta on a primary device. Also, there is only about a month left for a stable build so waiting for it is the right choice for many.
