Four Vivo phones are scheduled to received Funtouch OS 11 update this month

Although, the Vivo’s newest skin – Funtouch OS 11 was unveiled in September last year. But in January, Vivo shared the Funtouch OS 11 based Android 11 official roadmap. According to the official timeline, the company is set to bring its latest skin to a bunch of Vivo phones.

The company has already pushed the update to the Vivo V19, Vivo X50, and Vivo X50 Pro. And this month, Vivo is set to bring Funtouch OS 11 to four more phones. Obviously, the update bags a slew of useful features, improvements, and improved security.

According to the roll out timeline, Vivo will start rolling out Funtouch OS 11 update to four smartphones starting from end of this month. This time, Vivo is going to release the new update to three V-series phones along with one S-series phone. The list includes these models – Vivo V15 Pro, Vivo V17, Vivo V17 Pro, and Vivo S1. So, these phones will receive the Funtouch OS 11 based Android 11 update starting from end of this month, or there are some chances that it will get the update in the first or second week of next month.

As it is one of the biggest updates, it carries a flurry of new features. In terms of details, the update will come with a number of visual changes, customizable AOD, Multi-turbo mode 4.0, rounded icons, and a few other changes as well. Other than that, the update will bring the newer security patch and improvements to the system.

List of Vivo phones to get Funtouch OS 11 based Android 11 Update in March 2021:

  • Vivo V15 Pro
  • Vivo V17
  • Vivo V17 Pro
  • Vivo S1

As the company is pushing the stable update to its previous phones, we can expect same for these four smartphones. So, there’s no need to wait for the beta testing process. If you’re in a hurry and want to taste the features of Funtouch OS 11 based Android 11 on your device, then make sure to update your smartphone to the latest available software version.

If your Vivo phone is running on the older version, then you can update your smartphone by heading over to the Settings > System Update.

Talking about the Funtouch OS 11 OTA, then you’ll receive the OTA notification on your device, if for some reason you’ll not receive the update notification, then you can manually go to System Updates section under Settings and download the update on your device.

Before updating your smartphone to the Funtouch OS 11 based Android 11, make sure to take a backup of needed data and also make sure that your smartphone is charged to at least 30%.

  1. Vivo is the slowest company in updating there phone to Android 11 (or let me say to the next Android system) when contacted they have no idea when and how some others phones will get the update.
