You need to download theย update file for your device, then you can easily update it from theย settings itself. You can also flash the open beta file on your OnePlus 5 & 5T with TWRP recovery if your phone is rooted with Magisk. Steps to Update:

  1. At first, Download the OTA ZIP, from the above link.
  2. Now Open settings.
  3. Head over to the System Updates.
  4. If the update is available click on Download now.
  5. After downloading, click on restart now.
  6. Restart your phone & Enjoy Android Pie.
  7. That’s it.

Note: If the update is not available, you can install it manually by Sideload method.

Steps to Update via Sideload Method:

  1. Firstly, Download the OTA ZIP.
  2. Copy the downloaded file in the internal storage.
  3. Now, Open settings.
  4. Head over to the System Updates.
  5. Click on the gear icon available at the top right corner.
  6. Now, head over to local storage and select the downloaded OTA file.
  7. Then, tap on install now.
  8. After installation, click on restart.
  9. Restart your phone & Enjoy Android Pie.
  10. That’s it.
