Google has just dropped the monthly Pixel update. Yes, the December 2023 update goes live for Pixel devices. The best part is, that the newest software upgrade addresses a big list of issues and bumps up the monthly security patch.
Google is pushing the new software to all Pixel phones with the UQ1A.231205.015 software version, except for the Pixel 5a (5G), which received the update with version number UQ1A.231205.014. The update is rolling in a staged manner and will be available to everyone in a matter of time.
In terms of features and changes, the update brings more stability and enhancements to system apps, improvements for charging and battery usage, camera stability improvements, fingerprint issues, and many more.

At the moment, the update is rolling in a staged manner, you will receive the update OTA notification once available on your device, you can tap on it and download the update or simply head over to Settings > System > Advanced > System update and install the new software.
Additionally, you can manually install the December 2023 update on your Google Pixel phone by sideloading the update. The factory images and OTA files of the September update are already available. But make sure to take a backup before sideloading the new software.
