It’s that time of the year when Android users wait for the major Android software upgrade, this time is Android 14. Google had already released the new software for Pixel devices. And, Samsung recently pushed the stable update to its flagship-grade Galaxy S23 series.

Last month, Asus kicked off the Android 14 beta testing for its high-end ZenFone 10 smartphone. Besides this, there’s no official information available yet.
The Taiwanese tech giant followed the same pattern with ZenFone 9 last year. However, the beta program was announced at the end of August.
This time, Google released Android 14 to the public in October and it took one week for Asus to announce the beta testing.
Asus has confirmed that the ZenFone 9 and ZenFone 10 will receive up to 4 years of security updates and 2 years of software updates, which simply means that both phones are eligible for the Android 14 update.
Talking about gaming phones, then the ROG Phone 6, ROG Phone 6D, and ROG Phone 7 series phones are eligible for the Android 14 software upgrade.
We can expect, Asus will officially confirm the eligible devices and also share the rollout timeline for these phones.
When it comes to rolling out major software upgrades, we can expect the ZenFone 10 will receive a stable build in December. The remaining phones are expected to get the update in the first and second quarters of 2024.

Asus has Bad update policy. They supposed give every phone which costs over 600โฌ that 3 OS upgrade. They supposed give those old flagships at least 4 years security update but not. Zenfone 8 IS still amazing phone and ROG phone 5 series too. Every brand has made several changes their update policy. But asus IS now 2023 still FAR behind. And that Will move customers to another brand.
