Yesterday, Apple released the second beta of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, visionOS 27, and macOS 27. Interestingly, while watchOS 27 Beta 2 was pushed to the Xcode simulator alongside the rest, the update took an extra day to arrive on actual devices. Today, finally Apple has released the second beta of watchOS 27 for testing purposes.
Apple is pushing the second beta of watchOS 27 with build number 24R5305g. The second beta comes in at 1.1GB of download size on compatible devices. Talking about the compatibility, the watchOS 27 software update is available for Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, Series 11, Watch Ultra 2, Ultra 3, and Watch SE 3. If you’re a developer, you can freely update your watch to the latest watchOS 27 second beta.
The initial few beta builds of watchOS 27 are not suitable for regular use; we don’t recommend installing them on your primary watch. If you’re a developer or you want to try out the new features on a secondary watch (if you have two), you can freely install it on your watch. The update will be pushed to public beta testers in July.
