After surprising iPhone 15 Pro users with the iOS 18.1 Beta last week, Apple released the iOS 18.0 Beta 5 to developers this week. The new beta will not be available to iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max users who have already upgraded to the iOS 18.1 Beta.

If you also had doubts about what Apple would do with the iOS 18 beta after the start of the iOS 18.1 beta, now you know that the beta will continue. Also, iOS 18.1 is only available for iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, so this was expected at least for other iPhone models.

Before we move on to the changes, here are all the updates Apple announced today.

  • iPadOS 18 Beta 5
  • watchOS 11 Beta 5
  • tvOS 18 Beta 5
  • macOS 15 Beta 5
  • visionOS 2 Beta 5
  • HomePodOS 18 Beta 5

Download and Install iOS 18 Beta 5

iOS 18 Beta 5 is currently available to developers, and a new public beta matching the developer beta should be available soon. If you are on iOS 18 Beta, you will get the fifth beta on your iPhone. Those who are already on iOS 18.1 wonโ€™t receive the update. To check for the update go to Settings > General > Software Update.

Once you see the new beta update, hit the download and install option. Make sure to take backup before installing a beta update or a major update.
