Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1.1 goes live for the Pixel 9 Lineup

While everyone is waiting for the public release of the Android 15 update, Google began testing Android 15 QPR1 last week. QPR, or Quarterly Platform Release, brings a new set of features every three months through Pixel Feature Drop updates.

The update is available for Pixel 6 and newer models; the list also includes recently announced Pixel 9 phones. It is a small update weighing only 4MB on the Pixel 8 Pro.

The update addresses an issue that causes unexpected device restarts. Yes, this is the only fix coming with the incremental upgrade.

If you want to continue the beta, you can go to the Software/System update page in Settings, and install the update. Don’t forget to take the backup before installing the update.
