Now the company is all set to bring all features of One UI 2.1 on its older flagship devices. Yes, Samsung has started rolling out One UI 2.1 Update for Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 with Android 10. The new update brings Samsung’s newest custom skin alongside the latest security patch. After successfully releasing One UI 2.0 for various Galaxy A-series phones. The company starts testing its newest custom skin on the previous generation flagships including some A-series phones. And now, One UI 2.1 arrives on Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, and Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+. According to the reports, the update is currently rolling in Germany via OTA (over-the-air). Talking about the features, then the new One UI 2.1 comes with features like AR Emoji, 4K 60fps front camera output, Single Mode, Pro Video, Night Hyperlapse, Custom Filter, improved Night Mode, Music Share, Quick Share, and some other features. The update also has all the basic features of Android 10. This release gains software version number G97xFXXU4CTC9 for Galaxy S10 lineup and N97xFXXU3CTC9 for Note 10 lineup. - AR Emoji has been updated with improvements like a manual editing feature and enhanced facial expression recognition.
- As AR Emoji has been updated to a new version, all previously saved AR emojis will be deleted when you next open the AR Emoji app.
New Camera Features
- Various menus, modes, and filters have been added, such as AR Zone, Single take, Pro video, My filters, Selfie tone, timelapse for night time, and a mode for recording videos with the front camera in FHD/UHD at 60 fps.
Gallery
- Similar images are now grouped together for a more organised viewing experience.
- A feature has been added that allows you to merge multiple different groups of albums into one group, or merge different groups and albums into one group.
- An improved search feature has been added to find pictures based on information such As the time or place pictures were taken.
- The Quick crop function has been added to enlarge and crop parts of high-resolution images.
Samsung Keyboard
- A multilingual translation feature has been added.
- A feature has been added for searching for Various items, such As emojis and stickers, at one time.
- A text undo/redo feature has been added. (Swipe two fingers left or right on the keyboard.)
- An icon to open Samsung Pass has been added.
Quick Share
- Files can now be quickly and easily shared with nearby Samsung devices using Quick Share.
Music Share

Download Samsung Galaxy S10 One UI 2.1 Update & Galaxy Note10 One UI 2.1 Update
One UI 2.1 update for both Galaxy S10 lineup and Note 10 lineup is now available to download. As of now, the update is in the rolling phase and may take some time to arrive via OTA. If you’re in a hurry and want to taste new features of One UI 2.1 then, you can download the firmware and sideload it on your smartphone. Talking about the firmware, then It is available to download via Samsung server (via tools like Frija and SamFirm) and third-party websites like SamMobile. Prerequisites:
- Make sure to charge your phone to at least 30%.
- Download Android 10 Firmware for Galaxy A50 (Specific region or global region recommended) using SamFirm or Frija Tool.
- Download Odin tool on your computer.
- Install ADB & Fastboot driver on your pc.
- Take a full backup of your data, in case of failures you may lose your data.
- We request you to follow the steps carefully so that you can successfully update your phone without any harm.
How to Update Galaxy S10 & Note10 to One UI 2.1 Android 10 Update
- Open the Odin Flash Tool on your file.
- Extract the download firmware folder and there you will find 5 files AP, BL, CP, CSC, HOME_CSC.
- Turn off your phone. Then long press Volume Up + Volume Down together and when holding both buttons, connect the phone to pc via USB cable.
- Release both buttons when you see the Warning screen. Then press Volume Up button once to boot into Download Mode.
- When the device is in Download Mode the Odin tool will detect the device and show blue color near ID: COM.
- Now click on the AP button and load AP file from the extracted folder. Also load BL, CP and CSC file. And in the User Data tab load the Home_CSC file. If you are using Firmware from a different region then donโt select the file in User Data. It will delete all data and install the latest version.
- After loading all required files click on the Start button and it will start flashing the Firmware.
- After flashing, the tool will show the โPassโ message and the phone will auto reboot.
After reboot, you get to use the latest Android 10 features and OneUI 2.1 features. You can follow the same process to install any other update if you want to install it before it reaches on your phone.
