Samsung Galaxy S25 Lineup Receives One UI 8 Beta 5 Update

Samsung Galaxy S25 is the first smartphone to get a taste of the upcoming One UI 8 skin; the company has already released four beta builds for the S25 series. Today, they have released another set of new features and optimizations to the Galaxy S25 line of phones with the fifth beta build.

Samsung is pushing the incremental beta upgrade to its current flagship smartphone lineup with the ZYH6 build number. The upgrade weighs approximately 1.8GB in download size.

At the time of writing, the rollout is live in South Korea, Germany, India, and the UK. If you reside in India or the UK, the update is labeled as the fourth beta, whereas the update for mainland South Korea is marked with the fifth beta.

  • Fixed hotspot connection error
  • Fixed the issue of the size of the clock on the lock screen getting smaller
  • Fixed S Pen Air command exception
  • Fixed issue of Quick Settings window not appearing
  • Fixed the issue that overlap the Quick Settings and Notification Windows
  • Fixed the exception when captuning screen in the app in the secure folder
  • Fixed the issue of moon appearing purple when taking a picture with 100X zoom
  • Fixed an issue of Do Not Disturb Mode’s settings Resetting
  • Fixed the issue of NowBrief briefing content disappearing
  • Stabilizes SW with multiple App Update
  • Applied August Security Patch

If you’re a tester in the One UI 8 beta program, the fourth beta will be available over the air. To check for the update, go to Settings > Software Update. Once the beta is available on your phone, you can download and install it. Don’t forget to back up your data just in case.
