One UI 8 Beta: Possible Phones Revealed! Is Yours On The List?

Samsung has released the One UI 8 beta for Galaxy S25 devices, just two months after the release of the stable One UI 7 update. The beta is currently live in Korea, Germany, the US, and the UK, with more regions expected to follow soon.

Samsung has also confirmed that the official One UI 8 will be released with the launch of the next foldables, which may happen in July or August. In the meantime, the only way to experience One UI 8 is through the One UI 8 Beta, which is currently limited to Galaxy S25 devices. While itโ€™s expected to become available for more phones, this hasnโ€™t been officially confirmed.

Samsung usually releases a One UI beta for multiple devices. However, with One UI 7, they initially decided to keep it limited to the Galaxy S24 series. Due to the longer delay, they had to release it for more devices. We are expecting that they will continue the pattern with One UI 8 as well.

If they continue the tradition, One UI 8 Beta is likely to be available on the following Galaxy devices:

  • Galaxy S25/S25+/S25 Ultra (Available)
  • Galaxy S25 Edge
  • Galaxy S24/S24+/S24 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Fold 6
  • Galaxy Z Flip 6
  • Galaxy Tab S10+/S10 Ultra
  • Galaxy A56

These devices are likely to receive the One UI 8 beta if Samsung decides to expand the beta program. Samsung might start expanding One UI 8 to more devices in a few weeks. Once the beta is available, we will inform you all.

According to the official release schedule, Samsung has two months before it officially launches for everyone, so not many devices will receive the beta update. If you think weโ€™ve missed any devices, let us know in the comments.

The One UI 8 internal beta build was leaked a few weeks ago. Those who managed to get the update have revealed that it improved the UIโ€™s smoothness. So, users may want to get their hands on One UI 8 as soon as possible. However, if your device is not eligible for the beta, you will need to wait for the official release.

Although One UI 8 is not as big as One UI 7, it makes everything smoother on Galaxy devices and also introduces some new features.
