Samsung has started refreshing its budget smartphone lineup. After releasing the Galaxy A06 last month, the Korean tech giant is planning to launch more successors soon, including the Galaxy A16, which will be the Galaxy A15’s successor. There will be two different variants for the smartphone – LTE and 5G.
Just over an hour ago, the folks over at Android Headlines revealed the render of the upcoming affordable mid-ranger, featuring Light Green color. We are here to share some additional information regarding the color options for the upcoming Galaxy A16 smartphone.
According to our source, both the Galaxy A16 and the Galaxy A16 5G will come in Black, Grey, and Light Green color shades. In terms of storage, we can only confirm the 128GB model for now.
However, some leaks and renders suggest that the newer generation will have a similar design, key island, and flat sides. On the front, there’s a flat display with a water-drop notch at the top. The bezels are notably thinner on the Galaxy A16 compared to its predecessor, while the bottom chin remains on the thicker side.
There’s a triple-lens camera setup on the back of the device and they are vertically aligned. There’s minimal to no change in design coming this year to the affordable A-series phones except for the flashy back panel’s. The device is expected to include a 5,000mAh battery.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A16 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, while the LTE variant could feature Exynos 1330 chipset. For starters, the phone is expected to come with 4GB RAM.
