Samsung releases One UI 6.1.1 update for Galaxy S24 series

Two months back, Samsung lifted the covers off its latest foldable lineup – the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Both phones come with One UI 6.1.1 skin, boasting many useful features and enhancements. The company has promised to release the update for older devices.

Today, the Korean tech giant has started rolling out the much-awaited One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S24 phones. For the time being, the rollout is live in mainland South Korea, with a broader rollout to commence in a matter of time. If you own the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, or the S24 Ultra, your phone will receive the new software upgrade with the S92xNKSU3AXH7 build number.

The incremental software upgrade weighs around 2.8GB in download and brings the September 2024 monthly security patch. In terms of features and changes, One UI 6.1.1 boasts several Galaxy AI features including Sketch to Image, Portrait Studio, voice-recorded integration to Samsung Notes, and more.

For photography, the update brings support for ExpertRAW’s AstroPortrait feature, Instant Slo-Mo for HDR10+ videos, Live Effects, Motion Clipper, and more.

Whether you own the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, or S24 Ultra, you can now upgrade your smartphone to the newest One UI 6.1.1 custom skin. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can manually check for it by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Remember to back up your important data before installing the update. No, the update will not erase your data, but take a backup just in case. Also, charge your phone to at least 50%.
