Oppo F11 Pro receives ColorOS 11 (Android 11) Stable Update

Back in December 2020, Oppo initially started testing ColorOS 11 based Android 11 on the Oppo F11 Pro and F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition. Now the fresh reports suggest the company has started pushing the stable ColorOS 11 based Android 11 update for Oppo F11 Pro.

The device was announced back in 2019 with Android Pie 9.0, last year, it received Android 10 update. Now the Oppo F11 Pro is getting its second major OS update, in the form of ColorOS 11 based Android 11 update.

In replying to a twitter user, Oppo officially confirms that they have started rolling out the stable Android 11 update to the Oppo F11 Pro. However, the twitter user confirms that the update is not available on his smartphone. We can expect it is a staged rollout that’s it may take some time to reach every device. As for now, there are no details available about the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel’s Avengers Limited Edition.

Oppo’s reply to a Twitter user

This time, Oppo doesn’t share of software version, countries, and other details on their community forum. So, if you want to get the update on your smartphone, then I suggest you to upgrade your smartphone to its newest software version. We can expect the rollout is seeding in India. Sooner, it will be available to other regions.

At the time of writing, the changelog of the new update is not available to us. But the latest update would come with features like FlexDrop, Oppo Sans font, three-finger gesture to translate from Google Lens, Nearby Sharing, Super Power Saving Mode, and a slew of customizations to the Dark Mode, Always-On Display, and more. The update may also carry a new monthly security patch.

Oppo F11 Pro Android 11 Update (ColorOS 11 Stable)

Oppo F11 Pro users can now upgrade their smartphone to Android 11 stable update. Make sure that your smartphone is running on the latest software version. If your smartphone is updated, then you can go to Settings > Software Update, if the Android 11 update is available, then you can simply download and install it on your smartphone.

Before updating, I recommend you to take a complete backup of important data and also charge your smartphone to at least 50%.
