Earlier this month, OnePlus took the wraps off its Nord 6, the latest and most capable smartphone in the Nord series. Now, the company is set to add two affordable options to the Nord portfolio – the Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite. OnePlus has now officially confirmed the launch dates of two upcoming Nord phones, along with key specs.
OnePlus Nord CE6 and CE6 Lite Launching on May 7
In a recent post on X, OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord CE6 series will be unveiled on May 7 at 12 PM IST. The company has posted a poster of the CE6 series with a “Crazy Power. Pure Play.” tagline. Additionally, the micro website for the upcoming CE6 series phones has already gone live with key details and specs of the two phones.
OnePlus Nord CE6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with a Touch Reflex chipset. The smartphone will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the CE6 will pack an 8,000mAh battery. For durability, the phone secures IP66/68/69K ratings.
Moving to the more affordable OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite, the smartphone goes official with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 APEX chipset. The device also brings a segment-first 144Hz display to the table, though it remains unclear whether it is an AMOLED or an LCD panel. The CE6 Lite will pack a 7,000mAh battery. The phone will be available in Black and Green color shades.
The Nord CE 6, on the other hand, will come in Blue, Black, and Silver color options. It has a square-shaped camera module on its back panel, whereas the Lite variant has a vertical camera module. More details from OnePlus are expected to surface in the coming days.
