The next version of Android, Android 15 is nearing its public release. However, non-Pixel users will have to wait longer, as it will be first available on Pixel phones.
Talking about Samsung Galaxy phones, the Android 15 will be available through One UI 7. The good news is that Samsung Galaxy S24+ was spotted running Android 15 based One UI 7 on the Geekbench benchmark.
As per the benchmark, the S24+ running One UI 7 scores 2114 in Single-core score, and 6616 in Multi-core score. While there is nothing more to discuss about these specific scores expect the better multi-core score, we do have some speculation regarding the discovered benchmark listing.
The new listing on Geekbench means that Samsung is now actively working on One UI 7 internal testing which could soon turn into a public beta. Last year, One UI 6 public beta testing started in mid-August, and the One UI 7 beta is expected the same time this year.
Before One UI 7 hits public devices, there is going to be one more big update for Galaxy phones. This will be One UI 6.1.1 update which will release along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. Yes in next few days we will have more information.
The One UI 6.1.1 rollout will continue for the next couple of months, which means the stable One UI 7 will arrive only after that. The One UI 6.1.1 is expected to include some AI features, such as the real time call translate on third party and more.
