We were expecting the One UI 7 beta to arrive by the end of November. However, a new leak suggests otherwise. As per the One UI 7 beta timeline leak, the beta won’t arrive before December.
While other brands are releasing stable Android 15 for their devices, Samsung is still preparing for One UI 7 beta. Usually, they start the stable update in October or November, however this time even the beta update is not available yet. They are known for releasing new major updates quickly, but not this year. Samsung planned to release the One UI 7 in 2025.
A post on X (formerly Twitter) revealed Samsung’s plans for the One UI 7 beta, which also include devices that are likely to get the beta update ahead of the stable release.
According to the post, the first One UI 7 will be available in the first week of December. As expected, Galaxy S24 series will get the beta update first. Later in late December or early January, the update will expand to Galaxy S23 series.
The source of the leak is not sure if the Galaxy S22 will get a beta or not. And the Galaxy S21 definitely won’t get a beta.
The beta program will last for about two months, which means stable version is expected to arrive in February.
Samsung will officially launch One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25. But the update will not be available for older models until the Galaxy S25 becomes available to the public.
Just like the beta, the stable One UI 7 update will be available first to Galaxy S24 series. Some information related to the One UI 7 features are already available, but the upcoming beta update will reveal most of the features.
