One of the biggest games of the year has a new update! Rockstar Games has finally announced when the pre-orders for the biggest game of the year will begin! The pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin on the 25th of June. This is likely also the time when Rockstar Games will begin marketing the game.
The pre-orders for the game will go live for the PlayStation and Xbox game consoles, i.e., the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and the Xbox Series X. In classic Rockstar Games style, the prices will be revealed on the day the pre-order goes live.
Meanwhile, fans of the franchise are hoping to soon see the third trailer for the game and also some news on the game’s availability on the most important platform- the PC. But, Rockstar Games might likely release the PC version of the game at a later date, similar to what was done when Grand Theft Auto V was first released for the game consoles and then later for PC. So it wouldn’t be a surprise if Rockstar Games took the same approach for GTA VI on PC.
Given how many recently released video games start at $80, one can expect GTA VI to be priced between $80 and $120. This is quite steep pricing, looking at the current price trend for video games, regardless of platform.
Pre-orders for GTA VI are expected to go live on the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, and select popular retailers. Apart from just the digital copies of the game, select retailers will also have physical copies available for pre-order.
Rockstar Games has also revealed the official artwork for the game that you can download as your wallpaper, along with other artwork images that you can save to your devices for you to use. You can access all these images at the GTA VI media website.
