Yesterday, Google kicked off the stable Android 15 update for Pixel devices, and soon other smartphone manufacturers will also roll out the anticipated software upgrade. A few days back, we shared the official list of Motorola phones eligible for the Android 15 operating system.
Today, we got access to the list of the first set of Samsung Galaxy phones set to receive One UI 7.0-based Android 15 update, along with the complete list of Sony Xperia phones eligible for the Android 15 OS.
Japanese mobile network operator AU by KDDI has released a list of smartphones set to receive the Android 15 update. The carrier operator has listed the devices from these brands: Samsung, Sony, Google, Lenovo, Sharp, Xiaomi, FCNT, and KYOCERA.
Sony typically does not provide a list of devices eligible for upcoming software updates. Historically, they have released updates around November or December, and a similar timeline can be expected this year. However, if you are looking for confirmation on whether your phone will receive an Android 15 update or not, here’s the list of eligible phones.

Earlier this month, Samsung announced the One UI 7 update at its annual developers’ summit SDC. During the event, the company confirmed that the update has been delayed and will now be released to the public alongside the Galaxy S25 series.
Typically, Samsung releases the latest iteration of the One UI based Android update around November. And around the same time, the Korean tech giant also share a list of eligible devices on the Samsung Members app.
With the delay of One UI 7, it’s unlikely that the company will release the official compatibility list anytime soon. However, a Japanese carrier has shared the list of the first set of phones slated to receive the One UI 7 update based on Android 15. Check out the list. One thing to note that the list does not include all the devices, its only the first set.

Samsung is set to release the update for a big list of Galaxy phones and tablets. Yes, this list isn’t complete but the phones on the list are confirmed to get update by the popular mobile network operator.
