iOS 26 Beta 3 adds stunning new wallpaper colors!

Summarize This Article:

The third beta of iOS 26 is now available to developers. Apple began iOS 26 developer beta testing right after the WWDC keynote, with the second beta released two weeks ago.

Early last month, Apple introduced iOS 26 to the public—the next major iOS release. It aims to bring a new design language inspired by liquid glass. The first beta had several issues that made the update feel like a downgrade; however, many of those major issues were fixed in the second beta.

The third beta is expected to fix more of the remaining issues while also bringing some noticeable changes. In my case, the significant battery drain is a major concern, and I’m hoping the third developer beta of iOS 26 to address it.

Today, Apple also released iPadOS 26 Beta 3, iPadOS 26 Beta 3, watchOS 26 Beta 3, macOS Tahoe 26 Beta 3, and visionOS 26 Beta 3 along with iOS 26 Beta 3. The third beta of iOS 26 comes with build number 23A5287g. As of now, the public beta build of iOS 26 is not available, but it will be released soon.

Since the beta has just been released, the complete list of changes isn’t available yet. Once I’ve checked the update, I’ll list all the changes below.

  • New iOS 26 Wallpapers (Download here)

If you have an iOS 26-eligible iPhone (iPhone 11 and newer) and you’ve already opted into the developer beta, the third beta should be available. You can check the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

If you haven’t joined the beta yet and now want to experience iOS 26 before its public release, you can easily opt for the beta in Settings > General > Software Update > Beta updates.

Make sure to back up your iPhone before installing the new beta, as this will be useful if you want to downgrade iOS 26 to iOS 18.
