This yearโs major iOS upgrade, iOS 18, is now released to the public. The latest iOS iteration brings many new features, from home screen customization to an improved Calculator app. However, if you were looking forward to Apple Intelligence features, youโll need to wait a bit longer. Apple Intelligence features will come with iOS 18.1 update, for iPhone 15 Pro and newer models.
iOS 18 isn’t a new for users who joined the beta program when it began in June after the WWDC 24 event. However, for everyone else, itโs a new and exciting update. If you are one of those users, get ready to explore a lot of new features on your iPhone with iOS 18 update.
If you’re part of the Apple ecosystem, you will be glad to know Apple has released new major updates for many devices. Along with iOS 18, you will also get iPadOS 18, iOS 17.7, iPadOS 17.7, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, macOS Sequoia 15, macOS Sonoma 14.7, macOS Ventura 13.7, and HomePod Software 18 on eligible devices.
The iOS 18 update comes with build number 22A3354. Beta users will find this build number familiar, because its similar to the release candidate build. Talking about update size, it is a big update which could weighs in GBs so make sure to use WiFi to download the update.

Download and Install iOS 18
If you have any of the above models, you will receive iOS 18 on your device. But before you go ahead with the installation of the new iOS update, first make sure to take a backup of your data locally or to the cloud.
To update your iPhone to iOS 18, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Wait for it to load and you will see iOS 17.7 and iOS 18 update. Select iOS 18 and and tap update now. If you are not in a hurry, I suggest you wait and check out the update reviews first.
Those who are on an iOS 18 beta will have to turn off the beta to get the Public build. And if you have already installed RC, you will not get this update as both are the same.
