The Magic Eraser is a feature available in Google Photos app. Here’s how to access the magic eraser in the Photos app.
- Transfer the photo to your Pixel 7 if it’s on a different phone.
- On your phone, Swipe up from the homescreen to open the App drawer.
- Open the Photos app.
- Open the photo that you want to edit.
- Now tap the Edit option which is in second place from the left.
- Swipe left and select Tools and then Magic Eraser.
- It will show suggestions that you can remove by tapping Remove All.
- If you don’t find the suggestions correct, you can manually highlight the object that you want to remove.
- And once unwanted objects are removed from the photo, Tap Done.
Magic Eraser works quite well, but in some cases, it may leave some traces. So make sure to check the area after removing an object. Also, suggestions work well, especially if there are objects in distance.
