How to Enable Google Camera Astrophotography Feature on GCam Mod
- At first download the Google Camera 7.0 or higher version for your smartphone.
- Once done, install and open the App.
- On the home screen of the GCam, the default interface is set for the Main Camera.
- To enable Astrophotography, switch to Night Sight.
- In Night Sight, click on drop down menu which will be on top.
- Then enable the Astrophography option. Also, set time if the option is available.
- And that’s all, now you can directly take photos with Astrophotography enabled.
- That’s it.

The Infinity focus mode enables the astrophotography feature. To enable the infinity focus, Open GCam app > Head over to the Night Sight Mode > Swipe down the Settings > set focus to Infinity.

i am using realme xt.
installed the gcam mod that you gave on a previous thread related to gcam on realme xt (MGC-7.0.009_MiIXSE.RPII.MiVIII_V0.apk)
the swipe down menu on night sight mode does not show the focus option. i can see options for timer, flash and ration on the menu not able to see the focus option. should we change any option of the setting to get that?
I can’t find any infinity focus mode as followed by the steps above. And also how do i enable developer mode on gcam?

Please download the latest mod port (PMGC_7.0.009_FinalBuild_V14.apk) from the above download section, the astrophotography mode is enabled by default on this GCam port.

using realme xt. tried using this mod MGC-7.0.009_MiIXSE.RPII.MiVIII_V0.apk .astrophotography feature is not working in this.changed the cuttle settings in setting,still no result. also didnt find the focus option in swipe down menu. tried the mod by by Parrot043 but the app is closing once permisions are given. please update when you find a gcam that works with realme xt that has astrophotography feature.

Please download the GCam mod port, it is not available in the default camera app on the Pixel phones.
