- Finally, tap on the Apply button.
With this style of the One UI Home launcher, you are now ready to make use of the DIY Home screen feature on your Galaxy smartphone.

Using DIY Home Screen on a Galaxy Phone
Let’s now get into the fun part of creating a DIY home screen on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
- Tap and hold on the home screen till the home screen settings menu shows up.
- Tap on the DIY screen tab in the top right corner.
- Now you can simply rotate and move the icons wherever and however you want. You can also play around with any widgets that are present on the home screen.
- You can get creative by using creative wallpapers and arranging the icons according to the wallpaper.
- You can also make your icons and widgets appear upside down, and theyโll just function normally.
- There will be a small toolbar at the bottom of the screen. These tools allow you to easily rotate and resize the elements on your screen back to their default settings.
- The first icon on the toolbar will let you add text, emojis, stickers, designs, and even more stamps that can be downloaded for free via the Galaxy App Store.
- Once you have made the specific changes, simply tap anywhere on the screen or use back gesture to save them.
Depending on the type of wallpaper you choose, you can create fun and unique setups. Granted, such customization is overkill for the home screen, but if you like fun and goofy setups that work fine for you, give this DIY Home screen feature a try and make the home screen truly yours.
