How to Customize Background for your Alarm on Galaxy Phones
The new Alarm app for One UI 6.1 has 3 call screen backgrounds and two video backgrounds that can be used. However, if you do not like the preset background options, you can always use your images from your Gallery. Here is how you can do it.
Step 1: First off, launch the Clock app from the home screen of your Galaxy device.
Step 2: With the Clock app launched, tap on the Alarm tab.
Step 3: Now, tap on the three dots menu in the top right corner.
Step 4: Tap on Settings and finally on Alarm Backgrounds.
Step 5: The Alarm screen will now be displayed.
Step 6: Tap on the background tile from the top left.
Step 7: You can choose from the preset background options. Otherwise, tap on the Gallery option and decide the image that you like as your alarm background.
And that is how you can pick a background image for your Alamo clock. Additionally, there is another way that you can follow to change the background of your alarm clock. This can be done when you want to edit an existing alarm.
Change Background via Edit Alarm Option
If you have alarms that have been previously set, you can simply edit those alarms to not only adjust the time, alarm schedule, and alarm tone but also the background. Here is how you can do it.
Step 1: Launch the clock app and tap on the alarm that you wish to edit.
Step 2: Now, you will see several options.
Step 3: At the bottom, you will see the alarm background option. Tap on it.
Step 4: Now choose from the preset background options or simply pick an image from your Gallery.
Step 5: Once you have made the necessary changes, tap on Save.
Apart from customizing the background and other elements of the alarm clock, you can also change the clock style for the alarm screen. Simply tap on the clock and select from three different options.
