Earlier this year, Meta expanded the availability of its AI chatbot to more regions and apps. WhatsApp gained support for new Meta AI features, and it improved with time. Initially, users could only interact with the Meta AI chatbot in a closed interface. However, this has evolved, and users can now generate and imagine content directly within WhatsApp chats.
If you want to know a convenient way to create and send AI-generated images in WhatsApp, you landed in the right place. Here you can check how to generate AI images inside individual or group chats in WhatsApp.
WhatsApp is getting better with each new update and Meta AI making the chat experience even better. Whether you want to get information on anything or simply want to share a cool funky image in a group chat you can do it all for free using the Meta AI chatbot.
If you like sharing funky images or GIFs with your friends, you can make your experience even better after reading this step-by-step guide.
How to Generate AI Images in WhatsApp Chats
The Meta AI chatbot is now available to a wide range of users who have set English as their default app language. If you still haven’t received the Meta AI chatbot, make sure to set your default language to English and also update WhatsApp to the latest version available on the App Store and Play Store. If you are already on the new version, then follow these steps.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your iPhone or Android smartphone.
Step 2: Choose the chat or group in which you want to send an AI-generated image or GIF.
Step 3: Tap the + icon and select the Imagine option. (You can generate images or ask anything by tapping this prompt directly in the chat box – @MetaAI Imagine “your prompt”).
Step 4: Write a prompt or idea you want to turn into an art, as an example, I type “a cute baby detective with sunglasses and hat.” Here’s the result.
Step 5: If you like the generated image, you can tap the send icon, later, it gives you an option to convert the static image into a GIF. Tap the Animate option to turn your image into a GIF.
Step 6: Tap the Send button, it will send the image to the chat or group.
Additionally, you can tap the Meta AI (gradient circular icon) to launch the bot and type the prompt to ask or generate images. However, with this method, you will need to manually forward the generated image.
