WhatsApp Beta Brings Liquid Glass Design to iPad

WABetaInfo, a leading source for WhatsApp updates, has reported that some users have received the Liquid Glass design update on WhatsApp Beta for iPad. The redesigned liquid glass interface brings an updated floating chats sidebar, Liquid glass-style tabs, and a context menu. At the moment, the new feature is available to a small number of users running WhatsApp Beta on their iPad.

If you’re using the WhatsApp Beta on your iPad, you can update the app to the latest version and check if the Liquid Glass redesign goes live for you or not. You can join the beta program if you want to try the new features before anyone else; however, currently, WhatsApp is not accepting any new testers. You need to wait for a few days to check once there are new seats available.

The bottom tab bar is one of the easiest ways to spot the updated Liquid Glass elements in the WhatsApp Beta on iPad. Additionally, buttons have also updated and use the same frosted glass appearance introduced on iPhone.

Apart from the iPad, WhatsApp began testing the Liquid Glass design on Mac ealier this month. The update on Mac brings a redesigned sidebar with text labels next to each icon, an updated chat bar, a refreshed attachment menu, and a dedicated section for locked chats, making the overall experience more intuitive and organized.
