After the announcement of the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup and Galaxy S24 FE, the company is all set to add another budget-centric smartphone to the A-series. The next phone to join the A-series will be the Galaxy A16. The phone will come in two versions – LTE and 5G just like its predecessors.
Earlier this month, we shared key details about the upcoming Galaxy A16, including its color options and storage variant. Today, we got access to official renders of the Galaxy A16 (4G and 5G) in all colors.
First Look at the Galaxy A16 and A16 5G Renders
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A16 early next month in three colors for both variants. This leak solidifies our previous leak about the Galaxy A16. If we take a look at the leaked renders, there’s a shiny back panel on the 5G model, which will come in Blue Black, Light Green, and Gray color shades. Here are the renders.
The vanilla Galaxy A16 (LTE) will join the party in Black, Light Green, and Gray color options. Both phones are expected to hit the market in a 128GB storage variant. Take a look at the high-quality renders of the upcoming Galaxy A16 4G smartphone.
As per renders, the upcoming budget-centric phone will feature a flat screen with a water-drop notch at the top, flat sides (as per previous leak from Android Headlines), and a key island on the side. The design of the phone remains similar to its predecessor, however, the Galaxy A16 5G will have a slimmer profile.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A16 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, while the LTE variant could feature Exynos 1330 chipset. For starters, the phone is expected to come with 4GB RAM and 5,000mAh battery. On the back of the device, there’s a triple-lens camera module, expected to feature a 50MP main sensor.
As per rumors, the Galaxy A16 5G will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate support, an IP54 rating, and Exynos 1330 chipset. The phone will come in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options paired with 128GB onboard storage; the 8GB RAM variant will also be available with 256GB storage.
Apart from all these specs, Samsung is expected to offer 6 years of OS updates and security updates to the smartphone, which is going to be the best for any low budget phone. The previous generation A-series phones come with 4 years of OS and 5 years of security updates.
