OnePlus Open – Details

OnePlus launches its first foldable smartphone in the US, UK, Europe, and India. Starting with the specs, then the outer display on the foldable is a 6.31-inch 1116 X 2484 pixels resolution Super Fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED panel. The inner panel on the OnePlus Open is a 7.82-inch 2268 X 2440 pixels resolution Flexi-fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display. Both panels support a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone has the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

In terms of software, the company has optimized the OxygenOS 13.2 based on Android 13 for its foldable smartphone. The new phone comes in 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. One of the key highlights of the OnePlus Open is the triple-lens camera setup, featuring a 48MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and 1.12-micron pixels size. The other two sensors on the foldable are – a 64MP telephoto camera and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies, the cover screen has a 32MP snapper, whereas, the inner panel boasts a 20MP sensor.

OnePlus Open comes with a 4,805mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. The smartphone goes official in two finishes – Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black. Talking about the pricing, then the foldable’s price starts at $1,699 in the US, €1,799 in Europe, £1,599 in the UK, and ₹1,39,999 for India. So, these are the specs of the newly released foldable.
