Circle to Search feature is coming to more OnePlus Phones with OxygenOS 15

OnePlus has been diligently working to bring new features with Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 skin. The company has already released the update for OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, and OnePlus Pad 2, while testing is underway for the OnePlus Nord CE 4, CE 4 Lite, and OnePlus 11R.

Today, the company has announced they are expanding the anticipated Circle to Search feature to more OnePlus phones with OxygenOS 15 update. OnePlus has officially shared this information on its community forum. However, the company has not disclosed the list of devices that will receive this feature.

The feature is already available for OnePlus 12. We can expect the feature will also be rolled out to other phones running on OxygenOS 15. For unawares, Circle to Search is a feature that lets you easily search for anything on your smartphone no matter what screen you are on. You could call it an upgraded or smarter version of the already existing Google Lens app.

Circle to Search eligible device list

If your OnePlus phone or tablet is running on OxygenOS 15, you can activate or deactivate the feature by navigating to Settings > System updates > System navigation > Circle to Search. Here’s how you can use the Circle to Search feature on your device.

  • In 3-button navigation mode: Long press the Home button.
  • In Gesture navigation mode: Long press the navigation bar.

Using the feature is simple, all you have to do is invoke Circle to Search and then circle, scribble, or select the object.

If the feature isn’t yet available on your OnePlus phone, you need to wait a little longer to get access to Circle to Search.
