Circle to Search is one of the most talked about AI features, which was first introduced with the Galaxy S24 earlier this year. This is a feature from Google, which later expanded to many devices. And it will roll out to even more devices in the coming months.
If you have an Android phone and want to know if Circle to Search will be available on your device, you will find the list here. The list has been prepared by Android Authority and Mishaal Rahman based on the official database provided to app developers by Google, so you can expect the list to be accurate.
Circle to Search is the advanced version of Google Lens or you can say an alternative to Quick Look Up that lets you search for anything you see on the screen without closing the page or app. Using the feature is simple, all you have to do is invoke Circle to Search and then circle, scribble, or select the object.
This feature saves a lot of time for many users as you can perform long searches in just a few seconds. For example, you can translate, find specific songs, check product information, and much more with multiple actions for them.

The list may not include every eligible devices. So, if your device is on the list, that’s great, but if not, there are some chances that you will get this feature if the device is new or only a year old.
Circle to Search requires a specific code for the long press navigation handle, which is not present in Android 14. And this is the reason why many Android phones are expected to get this feature only after the Android 15 update.
Samsung and Google has managed to bring this feature to their devices with a big update that include the required code. But other brands have not released any major update after the Android 14.
On most devices, this should be enabled by default when the feature is available. You can trigger the circle to search by pressing and holding the Home button if you are using three button navigation or the bottom bar if you are using gesture navigation. You can then select the item you want to know about, translate text, or find the Music by humming or playing in the background.
You can also view your search history and also delete the history. And to get out of the Circle to Search you can tap the cross ‘X’ icon on the top left.
So this is everything about the list of devices eligible for Circle to Search feature. How often do you use this feature? Do you find this feature useful? Let us know in the comment section.
