The fifth iOS 14.7 Beta and iPadOS 14.7 is available for developers and soon it will be available for public beta testers as well. If you are on any iOS 14.7 beta updates then you will directly receive the update on your iPhone and iPad. To check for the update manually go to Settings > Software Update. And then click on download and install to get the latest update.
If you are on one of the stable builds but want to try the latest beta, then you need to opt for the beta update. You can do this by installing the right beta profile on your supported iPhones or iPads. Once you install the beta profile, you will also get incremental beta updates. So, if you want to try new beta updates, you can install the beta profile with these steps.
Install iOS 14.7 Beta Profile and iPadOS 14.7 Beta Profile
- Go to the Apple Beta Software program site.
- Then scroll down a bit and click on Sign in if you have Apple ID.
- On the next page, select the correct OS for your devices like iOS 14 or iPadOS 14.
- Scroll down till Getting Started and click on Enroll your iOS device.
- Now you need to install a profile from the next Page. For this, click on the Download Profile.
- After installing the Profile, reboot your device. And you are ready to install iOS 14.7 beta 5 on your iPhone.
After installing the beta profile, you can go to Settings > Software Update to install the latest update on your iPhone or iPad. You can also install iOS 14.7 Beta 5 with the full IPSW file using Finder or iTunes.
