Probably most of the users have shifted to the new iOS 15 beta from the iOS 14.7 beta. It is obvious as iOS 15 is a major update with many new features to try. But since it’s in early beta it will have many bugs while the iOS 14.7 is stable enough to use on your daily driver. Both iOS 14.7 Beta 5 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 5 come with build version 18G5063a. The build number ends with ‘a’ which means we can expect the GM or Release Candidate next week.
Along with iOS 14.7 Beta 5 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 5, Apple also releases tvOS 14.7 Beta 5, watchOS 7.6 Beta 5, and macOS Big Sur 11.5 Beta 5. Both updates are small incremental updates with only a few bug fixes. So don’t expect many changes in the fifth beta. But it is better and stable than the last update.
Talking about changes then the major change in iOS 14.7 Beta 5 is the modem firmware update. Other than this, you will notice some new splash screens when opening the app for the first time after the update. We can hope for the Release Candidate update next week.
