Apple rolls out the fourth beta of iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 for iPhones and iPads respectively. Last Friday, we also received the iOS 15 Beta 2 for developers. If I talk about the last iOS 14.7 Beta 3, it was released about two weeks ago. And as expected iOS 14.7 Beta 4 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 4 updates are now rolling out for supported devices.
Earlier this month, Apple announced the iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and many other new OS at the WWDC21 event. iOS 15 is also running the beta but only for developers and soon Apple will release the public beta as per their roadmap. But right now, iOS 14.7 Beta is available for beta testers.
Along with iOS 14.7 Beta 4 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 4, Apple also released macOS Big Sur 11.5 Beta 4, watchOS 7.6 Beta 4, and tvOS 14.7 Beta 4. Both iOS 14.7 Beta 4 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 4 come with build number 18G5052d. It is a small update that weighs around 300MB which can vary according to the iPhone or iPad model.
Since Apple is already testing the iOS 15 and most of the features are making their way on its beta. So, we will not see any new features in the iOS 14.7 Beta 4 and iPadOS 14.7 Beta 4. But there will be many bug fixes and small changes.
