Apple has seeded the third watchOS 26.5 beta to developers, rolling it out in tandem with new betas of iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5, tvOS 26.5, visionOS 26.5, and macOS Tahoe 26.5. The gradual upgrade comes out a week after the release of the second beta. The update is designed to bring some new additions to the Apple Watch.
Apple is seeding the third beta of watchOS 26.5 with 23T5558e build number. It comes in a size of 570MB for the Apple Watch Series 7. For compatibility, the latest update is available for all Apple Watch models running watchOS 26 or newer. At the time of writing, the update is available to developers, and a public rollout is expected in a day or two.
As always, Apple didn’t mention any new changes in the release notes. However, iOS 26.5 beta users have discovered notable additions for iPhone and Watch, such as end-to-end encryption for RCS, Notification forwarding outside the EU, CarPlay improvements, and more.
