Apple is rumored to launch its first foldable iPhone later this year alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models. The device is expected to be called the iPhone Ultra rather than the iPhone Fold. A new schematic of the iPhone Ultra has leaked online, revealing detailed dimensions of the foldable device.
There have been several leaks and rumors about the iPhone Ultra, also referred to as the iPhone Fold, including a dummy unit showcased by Max Tech earlier this week. While the dummy unit reveals almost everything related to the design, the newly surfaced schematic highlights some differences.
The most noticeable difference between the earlier rumored design (including dummy units) and the new schematic is the camera island. In the dummy units, the rear camera bar started from the left side and extended only halfway across the device’s width when folded. In the new schematic, the camera bar is longer and appears more balanced, with uniform spacing on both sides. Due to this, the camera bar now looks cleaner and more refined.

According to the new schematic, the iPhone Ultra will have a thickness of 9.23mm when folded. This is slightly thinner than the earlier rumor that suggested a thickness of 9.6mm. The slimmer profile will enhance the iPhone Fold design while also keeping it compact.

When unfolded, the device will measure 120.59mm in height and 167.59mm in width. Yes, it will have a different fold appearance than the competitor Galaxy Z Fold, which is longer but smaller in width. The schematic provides detailed measurements for each dimension, which you can check above.
The schematic also shows iPhone Ultra will be available in two color options: Black and Silver. Does the iPhone Fold look interesting as per the leaks and rumors? Share your thoughts in the comments.
