Xiaomi is slowly expanding the Android 15-centric HyperOS 2.0 update to the pending devices. This week, Xiaomi has started rolling out the HyperOS 2.0 update for Xiaomi Civi 14. Needless to say, the update bags a slew of new features and enhancements.

Xiaomi is pushing the new software upgrade to the Civi 14 in India with 2.0.2.0.VNJINXM firmware version. At the time of writing, the update is in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone in the coming days.

Xiaomi Civi 14 was launched with the Android 14 operating system, which means, it is the first major system upgrade for the smartphone. The device is set to receive its first major upgrade, but it needs a big chunk of data to download. As per the details shared by Civi 14 users, the update weighs a whopping 6.1GB in download size.

HyperOS 2.0 for Xiaomi Civi 14 brings new customization features, user interface changes, performance enhancements, Circle to Search, and more. Apart from that the update includes AI-driven features such as dynamic wallpapers, AI search, Quick fill, Super Xiao AI, AI painting, voice recognition, translation, and more.

If you own a Xiaomi Civi 14 and live in India, you may have already received the update, but in case you haven’t received or missed the OTA notification, you can navigate to Settings > tap on MIUI banner > Check for Updates > Update Device.

Before upgrading your device, make sure to back up important data and charge it to at least 50%. If you’re in a hurry, you can sideload the recovery ROM on your device.
