HyperOS 2 is the latest custom UI for Xiaomi phones which packs some cool new features. It’s based on the latest Android 15 OS. The latest major update is now available for the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Xiaomi 12 Pro, the flagship phone launched in late 2021 with Android 12-based MIUI 13, is now receiving its third major update, HyperOS 2. Earlier the device received two major updates Android 13 and Android 14 updates.
The latest Android 15 update for the device is currently available in China with build number OS2.0.1.0.VLBCNXM. It’s a Pilot release, meaning the update will first roll out to beta users followed by everyone. The update is expected to be released globally in a few weeks.
The major update weighs around 5.7GB on Xiaomi 12 Pro. So if you receive the update, make sure to download it over WiFi.
