Vivo V50 and V50e now receiving OriginOS 6 update

Android 16-centric OriginOS 6 update is already being pushed to Vivo V60 users, but Vivo V50 owners are also up for a treat. According to a post shared by a Twitter user, Vivo is seeding the anticipated OriginOS 6 update for the Vivo V50. Not only this, but the update is also available for the Vivo V50e. A broader rollout should follow in the coming days.

Vivo is pushing the OriginOS 6 update to V50 with PD2437F_EX_A_16.1.6.7.W30 software version. As per the screenshot shared by Ritesh Thakur, the update weighs a whopping 4.1GB in download size. You can expect similar sizing on the Vivo V50e. Whether you own the Vivo V50 or V50e, you can update your device to the latest software upgrade by participating in the trial version program.

As it is a big upgrade, please ensure your device has enough space on your device. For quick installation, you can connect your phone to a stable WiFi network. Here’s a screenshot of both Vivo V50 and Vivo V50e running OriginOS 6 update.

In terms of features and changes, OriginOS 6 update for Vivo V50 and V50e is rolling out with a revamped user interface, smooth animations, AI lightning, redesigned media player, enhanced lock screen customization, and many other features.
