Vivo updates Vivo V60 with OriginOS 6 update

Vivo has been testing the anticipated Android 16-centric OriginOS 6 update on compatible devices for the past two months. The major software upgrade is already available to select Vivo X-series and Vivo X Fold phones. Now, reports indicate the OriginOS 6 update has reached the Vivo V60, making it the first V-series device to receive the new custom skin.

Vivo V60 was launched with Android 15 operating system, and the device is all set to receive its first major OS upgrade. Vivo is seeding the Android 16-based OriginOS 6 update to V60 with PD2503CF_EX_16.1.6.11.W30 firmware version. As it is a big upgrade, it weighs approx. 3.8GB in download size, you can connect your device to a stable WiFi network to quickly install the update.

For the time being, the update is in rollout phase and limited to select users. Twitter user Anant Rawat already received the update on the Vivo V60. We can expect a broader rollout over the next month. Take a look at the changelog and other details of the update.

In terms of features and changes, OriginOS 6 update for Vivo V60 duo is rolling out with a revamped user interface, smooth animations, AI lightning, redesigned media player, enhanced lock screen customization, and many other features. If you reside in India and own the Vivo V60, you can now upgrade your device to OriginOS 6 based Android 16 update by navigating to Settings > About Phone > System updates > version Trial > Trial version > download and install.

Please take a backup of important data before updating your device to the latest update. Also, charge your phone to atleast 50% before installing the update.
