Earlier this month, Samsung released the One UI 8 update for Galaxy Tab A9. Today, the company expands the rollout to the Galaxy Tab A9+. The update is currently rolling out to users in Europe and will soon be available in other regions where these devices are sold. The update brings a plethora of features to the tablet.
Samsung has been consistently rolling out the One UI 8 update since September. The company is now wrapping up by releasing the update to devices that were previously left out. There are several reports that the Galaxy Tab A9+ is now receiving the update.
The stable Android 16 update for Galaxy Tab A9+ is being rolled out with build number X210RXXU4BYKG and weighs over 2GB. The update also includes the October Android security patch.
One UI 8 is the latest major update, which brings various new features and improvements. If you own any of the mentioned models, you’ll get features such as the new adaptive lock screen clock, new preset routines, easily filter downloaded files, enhanced split screen, and more.
The One UI 8 update is gradually rolling out for Galaxy Tab A9+ users through OTA updates. If you own one of these models and haven’t received the update yet, you’ll receive it soon. You can check for the update in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Make sure to take a backup of your data and charge your phone to at least 50% before installing the update.
