Like other Android phones, the Galaxy S25 series comes with a locked bootloader by default. This is for security reasons, but users are allowed to unlock the bootloader if they wish. Enable OEM Unlocking

- Open Settings on your Samsung Galaxy S25 device.
- Navigate to About Phone > Software Information.
- Tap 7-8 times on Build Number and a message will appear saying “Developer mode has been enabled.”
- Now go back to main Settings and scroll to the last. You will see Developer Options.
- Open Developer Options. Here you will find OEM Unlocking, enable it. Additionally enable USB Debugging for easy process.

- Connect your PC and Galaxy S25 using the USB cable.
- Now, turn off your phone. As soon as the device turns off, press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons together until you see the Warning screen.
- Now press and hold the Volume Up to enter unlock mode.
- The unlock bootloader page will open, press the Volume Up to confirm unlocking the bootloader.
- Wait for the process to complete. It will show a message that bootloader is unlocked, press the power key to continue.
The phone will reboot into the system. Now, you can set up the device. When you check the OEM unlocking, it will be enabled and greyed out. If you change your mind later, you can also relock the bootloader of Galaxy S25 using the same process.
