If you own a Galaxy A-series or another mid-range device, you can expect to receive the One UI 7 update this month. Last week, Samsung officially published a press release confirming a list of A-series phones to receive One UI 7 update in the month of May.

One of the first devices from the list to receive the stable One UI 7 update will be the Galaxy A55. Samsung has been testing the update on this popular A-series mid-ranger from last year, and now it’s finally time for the public rollout to begin. Later, the update will reach other devices.
If you own Galaxy smartphone or tablet is eligible to receive One UI 7 update in May, you should take a backup of important data before installing this major software upgrade.
Samsung usually rolls out One UI updates in a staged manner, and you will receive an OTA notification once the update reaches your device. In case you miss the notification, you can navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
