One UI 7 update for Galaxy S21 rolling out now

Samsung is finally pacing the speed of the One UI 7 rollout. The South Korean tech giant has already released the anticipated software upgrade for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 4/5/6, Galaxy Z Fold 4/5/6, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Tab S9 series.

Today, the company has started rolling out the stable One UI 7 update for Galaxy S21 series. At the time of writing, the rollout is live in mainland South Korea with the G991NKSU8HYD9 build number.

As it is a major upgrade, it weighs around 3.5GB in download size. Please ensure you have enough storage and data for installing the update.

Moving to the features, One UI 7 comes with a bunch of new features, including new personalization features, including the all-new Now Bar, which shows live activities such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more.

Other than that, the upgrade brings an all-new home screen user interface, starting with the app icons, quick panel, font, new One UI widgets, and more. You can check out the complete list of changes here.

If you own the Galaxy S21, you can check for new updates in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
